“Steps to a Healthier Family” is designed for people who want to start transitioning their family into a more whole foods, healthy lifestyle but in a non-fanatical way. By taking one class each month, learning a new step to work on, you will slowly transition into better habits, slowly….so they’ll stick!! Come join us for food, fun & lots of info to help you make better choices in the grocery store & in your kitchen! You won’t regret it!
If you haven’t come to the earlier classes, it’s ok, feel free to join us at anytime. You can always purchase the online course as well to get caught up on previous steps!
Come join us this month to learn about the wonderful world of whole grains! Have you heard of Spelt, Millet, Quinoa, Kamut, etc…?? We will be going over grains, both common and ancient, and teach you how to cook them and even how to make fresh homemade bread! It’s easier than you think!
Eating whole grains is an essential part of a healthy well-rounded diet and you should not be afraid of them. Whole grains are packed with fiber, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, plant enzymes, hormones, and hundreds of other phytochemicals. Most Americans are deficient in fiber, but you won’t be after this class! Come learn how to make them taste delicious because they are already nutritious! Don’t worry, there will be a bathroom nearby! ha ha 🙂 This is a class you won’t want to miss!!
